My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Betty Age: About 6 Months Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Terrier Mix Color: Brown Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the shelter before my time there came to an end. The shelter was loud and uncertain, and I spent my days quietly waiting without understanding what would happen next. Then someone reached out and gave me a chance to leave that place behind. From that moment on, my life slowly began to change. Now I’m learning what safety, comfort, and gentle care feel like each day. I still carry a soft and hopeful heart, ready for the brighter future ahead.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Betty. I have a very special look that people never seem to forget—my adorable slightly cross-eyed gaze gives me a charm that somehow becomes even more lovable the longer you look at me. Once you fall for it, it’s hard not to smile every time you see me. I can be a little cautious when something feels unfamiliar, and I may briefly scamper away or keep my distance at first. But my curiosity always wins in the end, and before long, I’m coming closer on my own, ready to say hello and see what treats or affection might be waiting for me. Even though I’m still young, I have a brave little personality. I do well around bigger dogs and don’t let my size stop me from joining in and confidently being part of the group. There’s a playful confidence in me that balances perfectly with my sweet and silly charm. If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a unique face, a cheerful spirit, and endless charm packed into a small body, I’d love to make you smile every single day.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean in for attention, and enjoy gentle touch, even from someone I’ve just met. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which makes everyday moments together feel easy and close. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and gentle guidance as I experience something new. · With Dogs: I’m a naturally social pup who loves meeting other dogs—I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. Even if another dog gets pushy or tries to provoke me, I’d much rather avoid conflict and quietly move away, choosing peace whenever I can. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate to high energy level – I have a bright, playful energy and enjoy spending plenty of time outdoors, though I settle down nicely once I’ve had enough activity and adventure for the day. Since I’m still young and learning about the world, unfamiliar things can sometimes make me pause and lower myself for reassurance. I feel much more comfortable walking in quieter places, while busy roads and lots of cars can still seem a little overwhelming. With patient guidance and positive experiences, I continue to grow more confident step by step.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a calm, easygoing nature and feel comfortable sharing my space, even around food. I’m generally very quiet and rarely bark. I settle nicely in a kennel I adapt well to both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom routines. Car rides can feel a little scary for me at first, so I feel safest when someone gently lifts me into the car and helps me get settled.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    BETTY'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2745613##
