Astrid

My story

I have had Astrid in my life since she was 6 weeks old. She is over 9 and a half years old. I love her dearly but am unable to properly care for her as she needs as an elderly dog due to my living situation. Astrid is a great companion for someone without kids. She would be great for an adult couple or single person who is home a lot. She has some behavior issues such as fear barking, she doesn’t like strangers much or many people for that matter until she gets to know them. She has been pretty isolated this last year so it may take awhile for her to get back to herself. She likes to play and go for walks a lot! She has not been able to do these things regularly though. She is very protective of me and I’m sure she will be of her future owner as that is just her nature. She is a bit overweight and has allergies so she is on an allergy medication long term for this issue. Astrid has been a joy and has been a loyal, loving companion for years.
