My story

Energetic • Playful • CuriousBIO:- Lab/Husky Mix, 1.5 years old, Male (neutered)- Medium, 48 lbs, High-energy- He is from Cat Lake, transported by Northern Connection Dog Rescue- Rocko is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations ABOUT ROCCO: - Rocko is an extremely friendly dog who loves playing and being around people - He is generally good on leash, though he can pull when excited- Rocko is very social and has enjoyed walks and active playtime with other dogs while in the shelter- He can become jumpy when overstimulated and has shown some prey drive to squirrels on a walk, leash manners training and helping him to focus would be ideal.- He is smart and quickly learns new skillsROCCO’S IDEAL HOME:- Rocko would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and mental enrichment- He would do best with someone experienced with energetic dogs and committed to ongoing training- Because of his excitement level any children in the home should be comfortable around large, active dogs- A shared-wall situation may be okay, Rocko is more of a gentle communicator than a barker- Rocko could live with a well-matched canine companion. If his potential adopter has a dog, we will arrange for a meet and greetAdopt-O Rocko, he’s a friendly, intelligent, and endlessly entertaining companion! If you have any questions about Rocko contact his Adoption Coordinator at: lauren.etobicokehumanesociety@gmail.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rocko, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
