Louis

My story

Louis is a one year old lab/shepard mix who is looking for a cat free home. He is not aggressive toward cats, but he becomes overly excited and wants to chase/play with them, so he would do best in a home without them.He is neutered, microchipped, crate trained, food motivated, takes treats gently, shows no signs of anxiety, and rarely barks unless someone knocks on the door. He has a moderate to high energy level depending on the day — he enjoys long walks, eating ice cubes, playing tug of war, and fetch. He will even throw the ball for himself to chase! He does pull on the leash for a while at first until he tires out. He knows sit, down, and shake.I work hybrid so is usually in his crate no longer than usually 3-5 hours during the day. He does sleep for 8-9 hours overnight though. He is truly a sweet boy, eager to please, friendly and affectionate with adults and other big dogs, and does well with older kids. He would love a backyard and buddy he can play with.
