My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Boseul Age: 3 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Beige Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mama gave birth to me and my siblings, doing her best to protect and care for us. Tragically, not long after, she was involved in a car accident and sadly was no longer part of this world. We were left behind far too young and vulnerable, without our mother there to guide us. Thankfully, rescuers found us in time and stepped in to give us a second chance at life. Because of them, I was able to grow up safely surrounded by care and love. Now, I’m ready to leave those difficult beginnings behind and find a forever family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a friendly and sweet girl who’s often described as a little mini Jindo. I’m bright, bubbly, and full of charm, and I get along well with both people and dogs. I absolutely love receiving pets, affection, and attention from my humans. That said, I prefer taking things at my own pace and don’t enjoy being picked up right away when we first meet. If I feel unsure or rushed, I may try to move away instead. Once I feel comfortable and trust you, my affectionate and loving personality shines through naturally.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a friendly and affectionate girl who loves receiving pets and attention from everyone I meet. I’m also very gentle with kids and have a soft, loving nature. One of my favorite things to do is roll over and show my belly, even to people I’ve just met, because I warm up quickly and enjoy human companionship so much. I do allow myself to be picked up as well — I just appreciate a little patience and gentle reassurance in the beginning while I get comfortable. · With Dogs: I get along very well with my dog friends too. I enjoy greeting new dogs and interacting with them, and I currently live peacefully with the dogs at the care facility. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on leash and follow my handler’s lead nicely during walks. I have excellent manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I’m also a very quiet girl overall and rarely bark. I tend to feel more comfortable walking in quieter areas, as loud or busy environments can still scare me sometimes. With patience and reassurance, I continue building confidence every day. I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle well when it’s time to relax. I currently prefer an outdoor potty routine and do best with consistency and structure.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a gentle, loving girl with a soft and affectionate personality. Volunteers and staff adore how sweet and friendly I am with both people and dogs. I love receiving pets and attention, and once I feel comfortable, I’ll happily roll over to show my belly and ask for even more affection. Even though I can feel a little nervous in loud or unfamiliar environments, I bond very deeply with my people and truly thrive with patience, kindness, and reassurance. I’m the kind of companion who will quietly stay by your side and bring a calm, loving presence into your home. I also have wonderful manners overall — I’m quiet, gentle, easygoing with other dogs, and know how to settle calmly and relax.
