My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Naon Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Black and Tan Weight: 19kg / 42lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY In 2023, when I was only a tiny two-month-old puppy, I arrived at the city shelter with my five siblings. Everything felt big and unfamiliar, but we still had each other. Thankfully, we were rescued and given a second chance before too much time passed. One by one, all of my siblings found families and began their new lives. And now, somehow, I’m the only one still waiting. But I still believe my turn will come too—and when it does, I’ll be ready with all the love I’ve been saving.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Naon. I’m a calm, gentle soul with a quiet presence and a soft, thoughtful way of moving through the world. I tend to observe first rather than rush in, and I feel most comfortable when things are peaceful and respectful. People often notice my beautiful fluffy coat, but the real charm is in my steady and gentle personality. When I meet someone for the first time, I can be a little shy and may keep my distance while I figure things out. I simply need a bit of time to understand that I’m safe. Once trust begins to form, I become much warmer and start showing affection in my own sweet, subtle ways. After spending some time together, I truly enjoy being near the people I know well. If you’re looking for a composed companion who builds deep trust over time, I would love a patient home where I can slowly open my heart and feel truly secure.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but I’m happy to accept treats and slowly build trust in my own gentle way. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my softer side naturally begins to shine through. I’m comfortable being picked up, which helps me feel secure and cared for. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need patient introductions and time to adjust to new experiences. · With Dogs: I’m curious to approach unfamiliar dogs and say hello, though I usually prefer calm introductions over active play. I tend to be comfortable and relaxed around female dogs, while interactions with male dogs may need a little more thoughtful guidance, especially if the other dog is sensitive or reactive. With proper introductions and steady handling, I’m able to navigate social situations much more comfortably. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and taking in the world around me, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun. On walks, I can get a little excited and pull at times, but I naturally stay connected and follow my person well, making our time together feel enjoyable and close.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a calm, easygoing nature and feel comfortable sharing my space, even around food. I’m generally very quiet and rarely bark. I settle nicely in a kennel I adapt well to both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom routines. Car rides can feel a little scary for me at first, so I feel safest when someone gently lifts me into the car and helps me get settled.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    NAON'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2733466##
