My story

Smart, Affectionate & People-Lover]BIO: - Lab mix, 5 yrs, Female (spayed)- Large, 70 lb, Medium/High energy - Luna was surrendered by her family due to a change in their circumstances- She is house-trained, microchipped and has her core vaccinationsABOUT LUNA: - Luna likes to be near you, she forms close bonds with her people and will follow you wherever you go in the house- Next to her love of her two-legged family members, fetch is her second love. And she’s really good at it, she’ll return the ball every time- Luna is good on a leash and will check in with you- She is currently fostered in a busy streetcar area and doesn’t love it but is doing okay with it, she definitely likes the quieter streets better- She can be reactive to other dogs she sees, with the right distance and space, as well as additional training, she can do better, she will need to continue to work on this- She is treat-motivated and her disposition to human bonding means this is very trainable. She knows sit, stay, paw and is working on ‘look’.LUNA’S IDEAL HOME:- Luna loves her walks and will happily trot along beside you, leash her up and she’s instantly living her best life- Luna will do best in a home where the family is home more than not because of her love and affection for her people- We are not recommending her for an apartment building but would do well in a townhouse or semi-detached- She has lived with children in the past and may do well again, because of her size we are recommending older children.- We are not recommending Luna for a household with other dogs. She has lived with a cat before and they got along, if her potential adopter has a cat a meet and greet can be arrangedLet Luna be the light that brightens your every day and every night! If you have any questions about Luna, contact her Adoption Coordinator at: lauren.etobicokehumanesociety@gmail.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Luna, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
