My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please read Layla's bio prior to applying.Layla is an active, intelligent shepherd who is looking for a family that is willing to continue her training and include her in all aspects of their life.  She is playful, loves to explore, adores water, and is very playful with other dogs.  She is doing well with her potty training, but will require a fenced in yard (physical fencing, please) in order to continue to be successful and have safe opportunities for games and play time.  Since she is a puppy, and still learning all the rules- she requires a home where all children are 10 years of age, or older.  She has met and does well with kitties, but requires a dog savvy cat willing to set expectations on her exuberant behavior.  She'd love another dog in the home, one that can be a good role model to her would work best.  She requires humans who are not gone for long hours.  She is crate trained.   If you are looking for a super smart and active pup in your life, and you meet Layla's adoption criteria- please apply today.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 10, 2026, 2:16 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Layla, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
