My story

Hi, I’m Fab! My name actually comes from my rescue story — when I first arrived at Feral Cat Coalition, I had a facial abscess and everyone referred to me as the “facial abscess boy.” Thankfully, after some care, a couple of tooth extractions, and lots of healing time, I’m now fully recovered and feeling fabulous… so Fab stuck perfectly as my name.These days, I’m a mellow, easygoing gentleman who just wants a cozy home and kind humans to love on me. I absolutely adore being brushed and pet, and I’m known for being very polite with other cats. I have a calm, gentle presence that makes me the kind of cat who can fit beautifully into almost any home environment.I’m also quite handsome, if I do say so myself. Between my gorgeous fluffy tail and my beautiful soft fur, I’ve mastered the art of looking elegant while lounging around the house.One other thing to know about me is that I’m FIV+, but thankfully it’s not nearly as scary as it sounds. FIV is a virus most commonly spread through deep bite wounds between unneutered outdoor cats, and many FIV+ cats live long, happy, completely normal lives without ever experiencing issues related to it.I’m healthy, happy, and ready for my forever home — it’s simply something my future family and veterinarian should be aware of.If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, low-drama companion with excellent manners and movie-star fluff, I might just be your perfect match.
