*POTENTIAL ADOPTERS MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OWNING DOG THAT NEED REGULAR PROFESSIONAL GROOMING* Please keep in mind, Willa is a young puppy who has high energy. She will need training and regular exercise. Meet our adorably silly and playful girl named Willa! We believe Willa is under 1 year old, which makes her still a puppy. We are pretty sure she is a Poodle mix, but we're not sure what she's mixed with. She came to our shelter after she was found roaming in town. Willa is a very friendly and energetic girl who loves to get attention! She rolls over for belly rubs and she is fine with being picked up. Willa is a good eater and she is very clean in her kennel. She will make a great companion for a family looking for an outgoing, silly girl! Willa is fine with other dogs and she can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. We are requiring her adopter to have experience owning dogs that need regular professional grooming. Willa will need this frequently throughout her life to keep her clean and mat free, and it will be an added expense to her care. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
