My story

Cinder is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who’s ready for a fresh start. She’s a beautiful gray cat with medium-length fur and striking yellow-green eyes that quietly take everything in. Cinder is naturally shy and reserved at first, so she’ll do best in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to shine—she enjoys being near her people, quietly keeping you company and watching the world around her with curiosity. She’s wonderfully well-mannered and respectful in the home. Cinder doesn’t scratch furniture and loves her scratching pads (having a few around will make her very happy). She’s also been living peacefully with dogs and prefers a calm coexistence, often choosing to observe from a comfortable distance. Cinder is still learning that affection can be safe and comforting, and you can tell she wants connection—she just needs someone willing to go slow and let her build trust in her own time. With patience and consistency, she has all the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion. Her ideal home would be a quieter environment with someone who understands that the most rewarding bonds are the ones you earn. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion and are willing to give her the time she deserves, Cinder will be so worth it. 🐾 Cinder’s $150 adoption fee includes a microchip, FVRCP vaccines and spay surgery. Anthem Pets depends on amazing fosters to care for pets and if your adoption application is approved, the Meet & Greet for this pet will take place at the foster’s home in Cave Creek, AZ.
