My story

Meet Emmy! Meet Emmy, a 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog weighing approximately 35 pounds. Emmy is a smart, loyal, and attentive companion who embodies many of the wonderful traits her breed is known for. Australian Cattle Dogs are highly intelligent, eager to please, and thrive when they have a job or purpose, and Emmy is no exception. She forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys being part of daily activities. Emmy has a friendly and adaptable nature. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for a variety of households. Whether she is joining in family time or spending time outdoors, she is happiest when she is included and engaged. Like many in her breed, Emmy is alert and observant, with a natural curiosity and a steady, confident demeanor. She would do especially well in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and continued guidance to help her thrive. Emmy will be available for adoption beginning May 17, when she arrives in New Jersey. She is looking for a committed and loving home where she can continue to shine as a devoted and capable companion.
