My story

Meet our gorgeous bi -eyed Remi your future quiet cuddle buddy. He is four months old and a mixed-breed sweetheart,. Our vet's best guess is a Husky/Lab mix. He’s shy at first but melts into a yawning, snoring marshmallow with a slow hello and a cozy lap. He will be a great companion for any family that will show him affection and give him time to warm up!  He adores other dogs and blossoms with confidence when he has his playful pals by his side. If you do not have another resident dog in the home, he will need to have canine friends to play with regularly and stay socialized.  Remi is also crate trained and he  loves his safe den! This sweet boy is working  hard on potty, as well. A fenced in yard would be ideal as he's a bit timid yet on leash but working on it! Remi would thrive in a patient, calm home with someone ready to celebrate small wins and give lots of gentle cuddles; a resident dog friend would be a dream match. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
