My story

**WELCOME GOLDIE** Age 5yrs Phoenix AZ. Meet Goldie: Part Adventure Buddy, Part Professional Couch Potato Pit Bulls have long been known for their loyalty, affection, and devotion to their families. In fact, they were once nicknamed "nanny dogs" because of their gentle reputation with children. And for those who remember Our Gang (later known as The Little Rascals), Goldie would like to remind you that one of America's most famous canine stars was Pete the Pup—a lovable American Pit Bull Terrier with that iconic ring around one eye. If you're smiling right now, congratulations: you've officially earned your vintage TV badge. Like many Pit Bulls, Goldie is smart, athletic, and always ready for action. Hiking trail? She's in. Swimming adventure? Absolutely. Exploring the great outdoors? Count her in! But don't worry—Goldie firmly believes that fitness should be balanced with proper relaxation. After a day of adventure, she's fully prepared to demonstrate Olympic-level couch-potato skills and binge-watch absolutely nothing with you. And since America is celebrating its 250th anniversary, here's a fun bit of history: During World War I, Pit Bulls often appeared on patriotic posters as symbols of courage, determination, and American spirit. Goldie isn't asking to be a national icon... but she wouldn't mind being the hero of your living room. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who can go from trailblazer to blanket burrito in record time, Goldie may be your perfect match.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Goldie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
