My story

Your Future Adventure Buddy and Professional Cuddler Arlo is a 4-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a heart of gold. He is the ultimate companion for someone looking for a dog who is as happy hitting the trails as he is snoozing on the sofa. If you’re looking for a "velcro dog," Arlo is your guy. He is incredibly loving and cuddly, forming deep, loyal bonds with his people. He’s also a total goofball! You’ll often find him entertaining himself by chasing his own tail or playing fetch with himself. Arlo is an active and playful boy who excels in the great outdoors. He is a dream on a leash and has worked hard on his off-leash training, making him a fantastic partner for hiking and long walks. When the day is done, he settles beautifully because he is fully crate trained. Arlo is fiercely loyal, which means he can sometimes be a bit overprotective of his people. He can be wary of strangers entering his space so may feel more secure in a low traffic home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Arlo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
