My story

IDGSR Welcomes KENZO into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hi Friends! My name is Kenzo and I'm an ultra handsome 2-3yr old male German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 2-3yrs old Kids: teenage or adult home preferred Dogs: good with large dogs Cats: no cats Training: needs obedience training 1. My backstory is pretty sad. I was starved to the brink of death by a greeder who didn't care if I lived or died. I did my best to survive and thankfully a nice person found me and brought me to the best rescue. 2. I am doing great with house & crate training! I eat my meals in my crate and have learned it is a safe place to be. With some guidance, I will eventually not need to be crated. 3. Considering my past, I am incredibly sweet, friendly, and resilient. I do love to give hugs and stay very close to my foster dad. 4. I absolutely love to play in the backyard! I love to play fetch whether it's a ball, stick, or other toy, you toss it, I'll likely bring it back. I also love to take walks and sniff every blade of grass. 5. I would excel with obedience training, especially if you use tasty treats like cheese or hot dogs. I need to be trained to be the bestest boy around & it will help us bond! 6. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
