My story

*Note: Currently, Dajeong is in Korea but will arrive in Toronto upon adoption. For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click this link.BackgroundDajeong is a sweet girl who was rescued from a junkyard where she was tied outside to guard the property. She was left without proper food or shelter and lived in neglect. It took time and patience to speak with the owner, but he eventually agreed to surrender Dajeong and the other dogs.Personality and SocializationDajeong is a very loving and affectionate girl. She is friendly and social, greeting new people with a gentle and warm nature. She enjoys being close to her humans and will often follow you around, simply wanting to be near. She gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys playing with friendly dogs her size or smaller. Around larger or more dominant dogs, she may feel a bit nervous and prefers calm and respectful interactions.BehavioursDajeong walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. She handles bath time and veterinary visits calmly and is often praised for her sweet and easygoing nature. She is trained to use both indoor pee pads and go outside for potty.Dajeong can feel a little unsure around young children when there is a lot of noise or sudden movement, so a calm environment would help her feel more comfortable.Health and DietDajeong is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. She is on regular monthly parasite prevention. She eats dry food twice a day and has not shown any signs of allergies.Ideal HomeDajeong is a loving and adaptable girl who could do well in many types of homes. She would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she enjoys companionship. A home with another friendly and playful dog would be a wonderful match.*Note: Currently, Dajeong is in Korea but will arrive in Toronto upon adoption. For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click this link.Dajeong is a gentle and intelligent girl who will bring warmth and happiness to the family lucky enough to welcome her home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dajeong, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
