Dexter

My story

Dexter is a very active dog who loves long walks and playing fetch. He’s friendly with people, kids, and other dogs and is generally a very sweet companion. He’s house-trained and does well when left home alone as long as he isn’t confined to room and is well fed. We leave him in the main living space. He doesn’t chew on household items and usually sticks to his toys. Dexter is a food thief, he will grab food on tables or counters and may get into the garbage or food pantry if it’s accessible, so we just make sure those things are secured when he’s unsupervised. He will run if he manages to slip out an open door, so we’re careful during entrances and exits to make sure doors are secured. Dexter does bark when he sees people or dogs walking by outside, but otherwise he settles well in the house. Overall, Dexter is a loving, fun dog who does great with plenty of exercise.
