My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Macaron Age: 5 months old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mini Spitz Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 4.5kg / 10lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound, where I went through a very difficult start in life. Sadly, none of my siblings made it, and I was the only one left. Despite everything, I held on—and thankfully, rescuers found me just in time and gave me a second chance. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to experience life in a foster home, where I’ve learned what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved. Now, I’m ready to find a forever family who will continue that love and give me the happy ending I’ve been waiting for.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Volunteers and staff often comment on how resilient and brave I am. I adjust quickly to new environments and make new friends with ease. I do get very excited about food and can be a bit obsessed with it, but that also makes me eager to learn and responsive to training. I’m even cuter in real life, with adorable big ears that are just a little oversized for my face right now, which only adds to my charm. I’m bright, bubbly, and curious about everything around me. I’m also a smart girl who learns quickly, and I already know how to sit.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly with people and enjoy receiving affection and pets. I like being close to my humans and happily soak up the attention. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which makes me an easygoing and affectionate companion. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and enjoy their company. I tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size and energy level. Very high-energy dogs can feel a bit overwhelming for me, so I do best with calmer, well-matched companions where I can feel comfortable and relaxed. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, and once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside and rest and relax. I have a nice balance of being active and then settling into a calm, easygoing playmate.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash walking skills and improving a little more each day. As a young pup, I’m still figuring out the world and will benefit from continued guidance and consistency. I have good manners around food with people, though I can be a bit sensitive when other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I also get very excited around food and may whine in anticipation, but with routine and training, I’ll continue to build patience. I may bark when I’m looking for attention, but I settle down once my needs are met. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and relax well when it’s time to wind down. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside, and with consistency, I’ll continue building great habits.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands my love for food and willing to guide me with structure and management so I learn to be more patient when other dogs are nearby • A family that understands I’m still a young pup and willing to provide me with continued training and socialization   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a young, growing pup with so much potential and a lot of love to give. I’m still learning about the world and building my confidence, and with the right guidance, I’ll continue to develop into a well-mannered and loyal companion. I’m very food-motivated, which makes me eager to learn and responsive to training. With consistent routines and positive reinforcement, I’ll quickly pick up good habits and improve my patience, especially during mealtimes.   MACARON'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2721561##
