My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Sugar Age: 4 months and a half Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Mini Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 3.5kg / 7.7lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY Even though I was just a tiny, young pup, I was already placed on the euthanasia list at a crowded city pound due to lack of space. My life was at risk before it had even really begun. Thankfully, kind people couldn’t bear to see that happen and stepped in to rescue me just in time. Now I’m safe, given a second chance, and ready to find a loving forever family where I can grow, feel secure, and live the happy life every puppy deserves.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying to be scheduled soon. Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m super small and even more adorable in real life. I’m a very sweet little pup, and although I may seem a bit shy at first, I warm up quickly and love being close to my people. I especially enjoy being held and cuddled, and I’ll happily snuggle right into your arms. During my profile photoshoot, I was so comfortable that I ended up napping in the arms of the volunteers and staff. That’s just the kind of gentle, trusting girl I am. I’m still very young and have so much potential to grow into a loving and devoted companion.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but you’ll hardly notice it because I warm up very quickly. Once I do, I absolutely love receiving pets and affection. I’m very comfortable being picked up and truly enjoy curling up in your lap and staying close to my people. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and enjoy meeting new ones. I tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size, where I feel the most comfortable and can have balanced, easy interactions. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, and once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside and rest and relax. I have a nice balance of being active and then settling into a calm, easygoing companion.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash skills and improving a little more each day. I’m a curious pup who’s still discovering the world, so I’ll benefit from continued guidance and positive experiences outdoors. I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I’m generally very quiet and rarely bark. I also already know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle nicely. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside. Since I don’t have much outdoor experience yet, I’ll need a bit of patience and support as I continue to build confidence and good habits.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding that I’m a young pup and I will need continued guidance and structure   SPECIAL NOTES I have a feeling you’ll fall for me the moment you meet me. I’m incredibly sweet, and it shows right away in my gentle, calm nature. I’m an easygoing pup who’s happy to be by your side and bring a soft, loving presence into your life.   SUGAR'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2721566##
