My story

We rescued this sweet boy from the shelter and he quickly got comfortable in our home. He is very sweet & calm, likes to ride around on your shoulders, and cuddle all night. He likes a deep open litter box and is due for his updated shots in the next few weeks (have records). He was treated for ear mites at the shelter but was cleared by our vet since then. Unfortunately he seems to have a dander that my daughter does not tolerate - she cuddles him for hours and then has a rash for days - even after bathing him (which he actually did very well with) and ensuring there were not fleas/contagious infections. She is apparently allergic and so we need to find him a new home. I think he'll be VERY quick to adjust - he was only with us for about 2 days before he was asking to be around us/the dogs 24/7. My daughter (and I both) want to make sure he finds a happy home - we're worried he won't be adopted quickly at a shelter because he's 8 years old... not a kitten.
