My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Hyuni Age: About 8 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 16kg / 35lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an illegal dog farm and since then, my life has slowly been changing for the better. I’m still learning what it means to feel safe, but each day, I open my heart a little more.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, my name is Hyuni. I’m a sweet-natured boy with a gentle personality and a quiet charm—my tiny eyes are one of my most unique features. At heart, I’m a good boy with a kind temperament, just looking for someone who will give me the space to feel safe and the love to keep growing.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a sweet and affectionate pup who truly loves people. I don’t hesitate to come up for a hello—I’ll lean into you, enjoy your touch, and happily let you pet me. Sometimes, I even flop over and show my belly right away! I just can’t help myself when I feel safe and happy. I haven’t experienced life with young children yet, so I’d need a little time to learn. But with my easygoing and loving nature, I’m always open to new connections. · With Dogs: I’m a social little charmer when it comes to other dogs. Whether they’re old friends or new faces, I’m happy to go up, greet them, and invite them to play. I’m especially at ease with smaller dogs and naturally approach them with a gentle, friendly attitude. Even in tricky moments, I don’t look for conflict—I’d much rather walk away and keep things easy. · With Cats: When I see a cat on a walk, I might stop and look for a bit, just to figure things out. But with a gentle guide from you, I’ll move along without any trouble.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a nice, steady energy. I enjoy my walks and time outside, but I’m just as content resting afterward and taking it easy. I’m experienced on leash and don’t pull—I like to follow along and stay connected with you. I feel more at ease in calm, quiet spaces, as busy streets with heavy traffic can be a little overwhelming for me.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m not protective over my food, whether it’s with people or other dogs—I’m happy to share my space peacefully. I’m also a pretty quiet dog and don’t bark much, which makes living together nice and relaxed. When it’s time to rest, I settle well in my kennel and stay calm. For potty habits, I can use both indoor pads and go outside, so I’m quite flexible. In a brand-new place, I might mark at first, but with a little guidance and routine, I settle in quickly.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES In unfamiliar places, I can feel a little tense at first, and that might show through behaviors like marking. With time, routine, and reassurance, I begin to relax and show my true, easygoing nature.    HYUNI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2720330##
