My story

Cricket is a 3-year-old male Husky with all the classic traits people love-and need to be prepared for-with this incredible breed. He's energetic, intelligent, vocal, and full of personality. Whether he's "talking" to you about his day, showing off his playful side, or exploring the world with endless curiosity, Cricket brings a lively spirit to every moment.Like a true Husky, Cricket thrives on activity and mental stimulation. He'll do best with an owner who understands the breed's need for regular exercise, structure, and engagement. Long walks, runs, hikes, or even backyard play sessions are right up his alley. He's not the type to lounge around all day-he's looking for someone who's ready to match his enthusiasm for life.Cricket is also a clever boy, which means he benefits from consistent training and positive reinforcement. He can be a bit independent (another classic Husky trait), but with patience and guidance, he forms strong bonds and becomes a loyal companion.Because of his energy level and personality, Cricket would do best in a home with previous dog experience-ideally someone familiar with Huskies or other active working breeds. If you're looking for a fun, spirited, and affectionate companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with adventure (and maybe a bit of Husky sass), Cricket might just be your perfect match.Cricket will be a delayed adoption and will need to return for his Neuter surgery. He is staying at 91 Patterson Rd in Barrie. Our adoption hours are 11 am - 5 pm, or you can give us a call at (705) 728-7311 ex.6 or email at barrie@ontariospca.ca for more information. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 22.6 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cricket, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
