My story

Rosebud brings love and joy everywhere she goes. She bonds deeply with her people, is a superb companion, and would bring the right home a lot of joy. • 7-year-old black lab mix • Personality/temperament: Affectionate, loyal, friendly, goofy — an excellent cuddler who loves people. Housebroken, can stay at home alone. • Favorite things: Relaxing at home, walks in the park. • Physical/medical: 75 pounds. As she ages, some arthritis is settling in, requiring some pain management, but she is still happy to go on walks, loves roaming around nature, and shorter fetch sessions. Reason for re-homing: Unfortunately Rosebud gets anxious around our new baby, despite training efforts. We had an accident where the baby got too close and the dog, cornered, nipped him out of fear (not aggression). Everyone is fine, but Rosebud deserves a home where she doesn't need to feel nervous all the time. We are committed to finding the right home for her and are happy to answer any questions.
