My story

Hi there, I’m Plum! I’m a handsome guy with an independent spirit. While I love knowing my people are nearby, I am not really the cuddling type. I prefer to show my affection by just hanging out in the same room as you, doing my own thing while you do yours!Because I value my personal space, I would do best in a home with adults or older children, ages 5 and up, who can respect my boundaries. Having a routine is my favorite thing in the world, and I thrive when I know exactly what to expect from my day. I am very dog friendly and I absolutely love to play! Although this isn't a requirement, I would love a home with another medium or large breed dog who is friendly and ready to romp around with me. I also love to learn, so I am looking for a family that enjoys daily training and can provide me with the structure I need to be my best self!If you have a resident dog at home, please note that a 'Meet our Teen + Adults' appointment will be required for a dog-to-dog introduction, as we require these for all pups over 12 weeks of age!
