My story

Spots was adopted from a shelter just over 3 years ago. He was found lost without identification and estimated to have been 3 yo. He was house trained and knew basic commands but nobody claimed him. Spots has isolation anxiety and barks loudly and scratches at the wall and door when left without human company. My second child turned 19 and recently moved out. I no longer have someone to help assist watch Spots so I can shop and make appointments or even get out. He is calmer with a second dog but I cant leave him any extended lengths of time. He needs a home with someone who is readily home or has someone to watch him. He loves company and likes play dates. He loves the dog park and dog daycare. He is happy in a home with another dog. He loves being close to you and attention from strangers and other dogs, large and small. He travels across country on road trips well and goes on hikes keeping up with bigger dogs. Children of all ages feel naturaly comfortable with him.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Spots, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
