My story

Hello! My name is Beth and I am a 10-month-old female domestic shorthair kitten with white and orange fur and adorable feathery white ear tips. I also have an extra “thumb” on each of my front paws, which come in handy when I’m swiping at my favourite toy. Until recently, I was living in a shelter north of Toronto. I now live with my foster parents, their 10-year-old daughter and my best kitty pal Meg. We aren’t related, but we feel like we are sisters, just like Beth and Meg in the book Little Women. I am a very playful kitten and I’m obsessed with my favourite toy—a pink shoelace. I also like to jump around and chase Meg. My most active times are in the late afternoon and evening. I’m a very loving kitty and my foster mom says my purr is as loud as an outboard motor! I love attention and like to be picked up and cuddled. We are still getting used to our foster home but are gradually becoming more social and confident. We now jump on the bed and meow when we want to play or have a cuddle. And its only been a week. We are fine alone when our humans go out. I eat well but have definite likes and dislikes when it comes to food. I always use my litter box. I am fine with other cats and my foster mom thinks I would also be fine with older and respectful children. I have never been around dogs. I am bonded to Meg and we love to hang out and snuggle together. I am spayed and vaccinated and looking forward to being adopted into a calm and loving household with my BFF Meg. If you are looking for a pair of playful and affectionate kitties, we might be meant for you! A note from Beth’s foster mom: “Beth and Meg are super sweet and playful girls who enjoy interacting with people and each other. They would do well together in a calm and quiet household where they will be picked up, petted and loved.” Beth would do well in a calm and quiet household. She needs another cat in her life and meg would be a great option. Beth needs to be adopted with another cat or have another friendly cat in the home. DOB: Jul 04, 2025 Polydactyl

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Beth, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
