My story

**Note: Currently, Isac is in Korea, but will arrive in Toronto upon adoption. For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click here.BackgroundIsac was rescued earlier this year from a city pound in Gwangju. He was always a friendly and cheerful boy who quickly caught the attention of visitors, yet he still ended up on the euthanasia list. We could not let that happen. He was rescued and moved to our partner boarding house in January. Since then, he has been living safely with other dogs, completed his quarantine and medical checks, and is now ready to find his forever home.Personality and SocializationIsac is a bright, happy, and very friendly boy. Since arriving at the boarding house, he has consistently shown a gentle and social nature with other dogs. He especially enjoys the company of dogs with a similar, medium energy level, but as long as they are kind and friendly, he is happy to play with dogs of any size. With people, Isac is affectionate and outgoing. He is not shy with strangers and has always done well with visitors. He enjoys attention, loves being petted, and naturally seeks out human connection. Isac has no expereince with cats.BehaviorsIsac is a smart and easygoing dog. He enjoys going for walks and does well in the car. He is also comfortable with baths. He is generally quiet and does not display destructive behavior. He is afraid of nail trimming, ear cleaning, and vet visits, and need to wear a cone during those times.Health and DietIsac is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. He eats kibble twice a day and has not shown any signs of food allergies.Ideal HomeIsac is a very affectionate, playful, and loving boy in great health. He would be happiest in a home with a secure backyard in a quiet neighborhood. Having another gentle and friendly dog would be a wonderful bonus for him to play with.He would be a great match for someone who enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with their dog. Whoever adopts this sweet and loving boy will be very lucky.**Note: Currently, Isac is in Korea, but will arrive in Toronto upon adoption. For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click here.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Isac, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
