My story

DOB: Feb. 21, 2022 Trix is, simply put, a lot of love in one place. He came to his foster home from a rescue centre in Scarborough, where the staff adored him and were genuinely sad to see him go. It's easy to understand why. Outside of a shelter environment, Trix has blossomed — relaxed, joyful, and fully committed to being the best possible companion. He's even won over his foster home's 16-year-old resident cat, which is no small feat. His most notable quality — and his foster family would call it his most annoyingly endearing one — is that he cannot get close enough to his people. He will find you, he will settle on you, and he will stay there. He's a leg sleeper, a lap cat, and an all-around velcro boy. If you've ever wanted a cat who is genuinely delighted by your presence, Trix is your guy. He's a big, handsome boy at around 18 pounds, and he's working on his figure. He'll do best with measured portions and a little mindfulness around food — nothing complicated, just consistency. His foster family has some dietary food to send along to get his new home started. Trix is healthy, happy, and ready. His foster family is going to miss him terribly, which tells you everything you need to know.
