My story

Falcon Short Hair Grey & White Neutered Male Estimated Birthday: 3/31/2024 Meet Falcon! Falcon was rescued from the recent large hoarding situation in Harrison Twp where he was one of 80+ cats taken from the residence. Tigerlily accepted him from Oakland County Animal Control, where he received his medical care. Falcon has had a rough beginning, and he will need a very patient adopter who is willing to accept his shy personality. Being in a home with so many cats, we think he didn't receive the attention and socialization every kitty needs. This has led him to be very shy and reclusive. All that being said - his foster mom has been working with him to try to make him as comfy as possible. He has never shown any signs of aggression in foster care. He loves his cubbies to hide in. Falcon has lately been reluctantly accepting head scratches and enjoys watching TV and the birds outside. He uses his litterbox very well, and prefers to eat kibble. We are looking for a special adopter to help this guy understand the comfort a loving human can provide. He will need someone who is willing to spend time just hanging out with him. Falcon seems interested in other cats, and a confident friendly kitty buddy might just be what he needs to open up. Tigerlily offers a "foster-to-adopt" program to help make sure Falcon is the right fit for his new family. Falcon is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested positive for FIV, negative for FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines. Fill out our online application to get approved for a meet and greet: http://www.tigerlilyrescue.com/adoption-application/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Falcon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
