My story

Take a chance on Emerson!Emerson came to EHS from an overcrowded municipal shelter where he tested positive for FeLV. His foster parent describes him as such a gentle soul, who loves following his people around and spending quality time with them.ABOUT EMERSON- In foster- Emerson is quite the love bug! He loves cuddling, often rolling on his back to enjoy some belly rubs.- Emerson’s foster parent describes him as “a happy boy, very loving and patient.”- Emerson is a man of routine; he loves laying in bed with his foster parent and getting some cuddles before going to sleep on his cat tree.- This sweet boy loves to converse with you! Whenever his foster parent chats with him, Emerson is great at continuing the conversation.- Emerson enjoys the simple life, and he loves to lounge on the couch with his person.- He is a little explorer! He loves to look around his space and be with his people to watch what they’re doing.- Emerson is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.EMERSON’S IDEAL HOME- Emerson would like you to know that he has regressive FeLV, which poses no risk to humans or other species of animals, but he should be the only cat in the household.- This gentle soul would prefer a quiet household, without young children.- Currently, Emerson is healthy and does not require medication, but vet checkups twice a year are recommended.- FeLV is best managed by providing Emerson with a stress-free, calm home and a healthy diet.- Emerson is a loving cat, who is looking for someone to take a chance on him, whether he lives 2 years or 20.Are you willing to take a chance on this sweet boy? Apply to adopt him today and give him the forever home he deserves! If you have any questions about Emerson or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Emerson, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
