My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Casper Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo – Corgi Mix Color: White Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was once on the euthanasia list at the city shelter. Just before my time ran out, someone chose to save me—and gave me a second chance at life. Now I’m here, ready to leave my past behind and find a home where I’m truly loved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues Patella Surgery completed on both legs   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Casper! I may be small with short little legs, but don’t let that fool you—I’m sturdy, full of life, and always ready to make you smile. People often laugh when they see me, and I kind of love being that happy, goofy presence. I adore people. I’ll happily come up to you, ask for attention, and charm my way into your heart. I’m especially good at saying “please!” when I want something! I get along well with other dogs too, so I’m an easygoing friend to have around. Honestly, I’m just a simple, happy dog who enjoys the little things—good company, tasty treats, and a warm place to belong. I’ve already been given a second chance. Now I’m just waiting for my forever home.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a very loving and people-oriented dog—I don’t just adore the people I know, I’ll happily walk right up to new faces, lean in for cuddles, and let them pet me with ease. You can comfortably pick me up by supporting me under my belly—I’m perfectly okay being held like that. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I may need a gentle and thoughtful introduction. · With Dogs: I love meeting other dogs—I’ll happily walk up to say hello and invite them to play, even if we’ve just met. I’m also quite comfortable around bigger dogs and tend to be friendly with them too. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy getting outside and spending time in the fresh air, but I’m not overly energetic. After a nice walk or some outdoor time, I’m perfectly content to relax and rest quietly. I’ve had lots of experience on walks, so I stay close, don’t pull on the leash, and follow my person really well.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m very gentle with people around food and don’t feel the need to guard it. But when I’m eating, I do like a bit of space from other dogs and might give a small growl if they come too close. I’m not shy about speaking up—if there’s something I want, I’ll let you know with a little bark. I may also bark when I see someone new. I can get a bit whiny in my kennel, especially at first, but I just need a little time to settle in. I usually prefer doing my business outside, so I’m most comfortable with outdoor potty routines.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’ve had surgery on both of my back knees, and I’ve already completed my treatment.    CASPER'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2711588##
