My story

Nothing like a GOLDEN ray of sunshine to light up your days!Beautiful Golden was brought back to EHS due to allergies in his adoptive family. He is a gentle, but anxious boy who loves spending time with his people.ABOUT GOLDEN- In foster- Golden is a gentleman if we’ve ever seen one! He is very respectful, while expressing how much he cares for you.- This sweetheart loves to show off his playful side! Whether it’s wand toys, catnip, or laser pointers, Golden knows how to have a good time!- Golden is a mini explorer. He loves jumping on high surfaces and exploring areas he can’t see from down below.- He is also quite curious. He enjoys following his foster parent around, needing to supervise what she’s doing and give his stamp of approval.- Golden is an excellent communicator! He likes to meow when he’s hungry, anxious, or wanting attention. His foster says that “he has a soft cute meow.”- His love language is quality time! He loves being around his people, and sometimes he just likes to lay near his humans without needing physical touch. He is very good about communicating his boundaries and feels safe when his humans respect them.- In the evenings, Golden can be heard running around as the “zoomies” kick in. Boy, does he know how to entertain himself!- Are you looking for an order to be filled from the biscuit factory? Golden has got you covered! He loves making biscuits on his favorite blanket.- Golden is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.GOLDEN’S IDEAL HOME- Like most cats, Golden takes some time to become comfortable with his surroundings.- Golden has stress cystitis, a urinary condition caused by stress/anxiety. He is on a long-term special diet to help manage this.- Due to his urinary condition, Golden needs to be in a low-stress, quiet home. He should be adopted into a home without any other pets or young children.Golden is ready for his next chapter, where he can spend quality time with his humans and show them how much love he is ready to give! Apply to adopt him today! If you have any questions about Golden or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Golden, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
