My story

Meet Handsome Honeydew! 🐾Honeydew is a mellow, shy adult cat who moves at his own pace. He may be timid and quiet at first, but with patience, gentle pets, and tasty treats, he can learn to trust and enjoy human companionship and start to share his many, many opinions. Honeydew would thrive in an adult-only home with someone experienced in helping shy cats feel safe, loved, and listened to.A volunteer writes: Honeydew was sitting proudly in the center of his condo with puffed cheeks and bright eyes focused on... staring at the floor. Well, that's what it looked like at least, but upon closer inspection, I realized that Honeydew was actually admiring his vast and ever growing collection of toys that are as sparkly and colorful as he is. Carefully organized in a little semi-circle for the prettiest presentation, I sat down and tried to join him in his hobbies. Honeydew promptly explained he had it all under control and then curled up in his toys for a nap. Having this many things to call his own might be a new experience for Honeydew and he's been having a whole bunch of those recently. He was brought to us from a home with many other cats and isn't always sure what to make of new people. While we don't have a lot more information about his life before, Honeydew's hoping to find a family to call his own soon. Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 9.125 Age: 1yrs 7mths 0wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honeydew, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
