Parker

My story

Parker came into my life in April after surviving nearly a year alone in an alley. When I found him, he had been completely on his own—without consistent food, shelter, or medical care. Despite everything he went through, he still chose to trust again. Bringing him home was never meant to be temporary. I truly believed I would be his forever. Since rescuing him, I have done everything I can to help him heal. With patience, consistency, and care, Parker has made incredible progress. He is now a much more confident, stable, and loving dog than the one I first met. Parker is neutered, fully up-to-date on vaccinations, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He has not been around children in my care, so I am unsure how he would do with them. Like many dogs who have experienced trauma, he needs time to feel safe with new people and new environments—but once he does, his personality shines through. He is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and deeply connected to the people he trusts.
