My story

Hello! My name is Belle!I`m a sweet girl but can be timid with new people and skittish of new or unexpected things. In my time at GHS, I`ve been learning that people are safe and kind. I am looking forward to joining a home that continues to show me how gentle humans are. I really am a sensitive but gentle giant. As I come out of my shell, you will see me run around and play with toys just like a puppy. Age is just a number, right? I am curious about other dogs and seem to enjoy meeting calm dogs, but no thank you to puppy rambunctiousness! I`m just looking for a calm home where I can spend my retirement years.ADOPTION CRITERIA:MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: I`m looking for a calm, adult-only home given my sensitive nature.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a calm, respectful dog.CATS: Yes, with cats confident or experienced living with a dog.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessary.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No busy or large apartment buildings given I get skittish of sudden noises/movements.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Low-medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!
