My story

Meet Ember 🖤 Ember is a beautiful 3-year-old black poodle weighing just 9 pounds, with a gentle, sensitive soul who is just beginning to discover what love truly feels like. She came from a sheltered life where she wasn’t handled much and never experienced the affection every dog deserves. Because of this, Ember is still learning to trust people—but she’s making quiet, meaningful progress every day. Ember finds comfort in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident, friendly pup to help guide her and show her the way. Having a canine companion gives her a sense of security and helps her continue to blossom. She will need a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. With kindness, consistency, and love, she will continue to come out of her shell and form a beautiful bond with her person.
