My story

Leo Breed and Age: 11 year old Cockapoo Weight: 21.4 kg (approx 45 lbs) Temperament: very sweet, quiet, gentle and kind boy. he is a Kleenex thief People: loves meeting new people both on the street in in the house. Good with older kids, younger kids untested Dogs: loves to meet other dogs, no aggression at all. Cats: been in presence of 2 cats and showed no aggression. Barking: have not heard him bark once Fears: has not shown any fear around people, dogs, buses, thunder Health: Leo has Glaucoma that requires drops daily.  His vision does not seem to be greatly impaired.  Seems to see quite well.   Leo has a Lipoma- behind his left front leg. This has been tested by vet (refer to vets notes).  This in no way inhibits his gait.  Leo has NOT displayed any stiffness in his joints and loves his walks.  Leo is a little overweight but his regular walks are helping with that   Leo is a sweet and gentle guy that is so easy to care for and a joy to have and to be around. He has not displayed any reactivity and is a "go with the flow" kinda boy.  He walks very well on leash (does like to sniff), both in town and on trail walks and loves to go in the car (and even a ride in a Tow Truck!). Leos glaucoma does not appear to have affected his eyesight to any great degree. He stands quietly while his drops are being applied and stood quietly at every vet visit for eye checks.  I have tested him on a variety of stairs with no problem going up or down, except for my own.  Will go up but not down....we are working on that one.  He loves to play fetch and search.  In closing, I can honestly say I have not one bad thing to say about Leo, except for his love of Kleenex!        April 4, 2026, 12:29 pm
