My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Angie Age: 5 years old (Born January 2021) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Terrier mix Color: Black & White Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY When I was rescued, I was in very poor condition, and it’s truly a miracle that I’m here today. I needed urgent care, including treatment for a serious issue with my uterus, but thanks to the dedicated rescuers and medical team, I was given a second chance at life. Now, I’m safe, healing, and growing stronger every day. My journey has made me incredibly resilient, and I’m ready to leave the past behind and start a new, happy chapter with a loving forever family.   MY HEALTH Spayed & all vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I don’t let my past define me. While no one knows exactly what I went through, it was likely a lonely journey—but I’ve come through it with a strong and resilient spirit. I adapt quickly to new environments and changes, and I continue to show just how capable and brave I am every day. I also have a great appetite, which makes me eager to learn and always excited for treats—training with me is both fun and rewarding! Most of all, I truly love people and enjoy being close, soaking up attention and companionship whenever I can.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up very quickly and start seeking out pets and affection. I’m comfortable being picked up, and once I feel at ease, my sweet and social side really comes out. During my profile photoshoot, I was happily following everyone around, asking for treats and attention—I just love being close to people! · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and making new friends, and I get along well with the dogs at the care facility. That said, I have good social awareness and will stand my ground if another dog is too pushy, so I do best with calm, respectful introductions. With the right approach, I’m able to build positive and friendly relationships with other dogs. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level and love to stay active! I enjoy running around, exploring, and taking in all the sights and smells around me. After I’ve had a chance to burn off my energy and satisfy my curiosity, I’m able to settle down nicely and relax.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash manners and getting better each day. At the start of my walks, I can get really excited and may pull, but once I’ve had a chance to settle, I walk much more nicely by your side. I can still feel a bit unsure at times, especially in busier environments, so I tend to do best in quieter areas where I can feel more comfortable and build my confidence. I have good manners with people and don’t guard my food, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I’ll benefit from continued guidance to help me stay calm and patient. I’m generally a quiet pup, though I may bark occasionally. With consistency and support, I’ll continue to grow into a more confident and well-mannered walking companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands my love for food and is willing to guide me with patience will help me learn good manners and self-control as I continue to grow.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m even cuter in real life—my face is mostly covered in soft black fur, and I have adorable black spots all over my body, just like an Oreo cookie! Despite everything I’ve been through, I have so much love to give and truly crave human companionship. I find comfort in being close to my people and will happily seek out affection whenever I can.   ANGIE'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2701019##
