My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Taro Age: About 4.5 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo – Spitz Mix Color: Black Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was once a dog at the city shelter— on the euthanasia list. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I could feel that my time was almost up. And then, just in time… someone gave me a chance I almost didn’t get.I’m here — ready to love, ready to belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Taro, a tiny, unique little soul who connects with you through the eyes. I may be a little shy at first, but my curiosity always wins — I’ll come closer, little by little, just to get to know you. And once I do? I’ll give you my whole heart. I’m gentle, curious, and quietly affectionate. I love making eye contact — it’s my way of saying, “I’m here… can we be friends?” When I feel comfortable, I become lively and fun — I enjoy playtime and being around my people. I may be small, but the way I connect, it’s something special. If you’re looking for a dog who will look into your eyes and quietly come to you, again and again, I think I might be your Taro.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I might be a little shy at first but if you offer me a treat, I’ll gently come closer, and it won’t take long before I’m comfortable with you. Soon, I’ll be letting you pet me and staying close by your side like we’ve known each other forever. You can also scoop me up with your arms under my belly — I’m comfortable being held once I feel safe with you. · With Dogs: When it comes to other dogs, I truly love making friends. Whether I know them or not, I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I have a naturally warm, social personality, and I enjoy sharing playful, happy moments with other dogs. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy going out for walks and exploring, and once I’ve had my time outside, I’m happy to rest quietly by your side. On walks, I’m still learning. I’ll need a bit of guidance and training to walk nicely, but I’m ready to learn and grow.   TRAINING & HABITS When it comes to food, I’m very relaxed with people — you don’t have to worry about me guarding anything. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a small growl. I just like having my space during mealtime. Sometimes, when I want something, I’ll let you know with a little bark — just my way of talking to you. In my kennel, I settle down calmly and rest without trouble, and I’m comfortable having my own quiet space. I can use both indoor pads and go outside, though I don’t have a lot of outdoor potty experience yet — so I’ll just need a little guidance and routine to learn.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash. I’ll need a bit of guidance and training during walks, but I’m eager to learn and get better every day. With patience, consistency, and a little teamwork, I’ll grow into a wonderful walking companion. I’m a young puppy, still growing and building confidence. I just need a little patience in the beginning.    TARO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2700994##
