Lucky

My story

Hi! I’m currently medical fostering Lucky, and he’s ready for his adoptive home. Lucky is a sweet 3–4 year old cattle dog (blue heeler) mix looking for a calm, low-key home. He’s incredibly loyal and people-oriented—a velcro dog who bonds closely with his person. He was saved from the county euthanasia list and is still healing, so he can be a bit sensitive at first and does best with slow, respectful introductions and a predictable environment. Once he feels safe, he’s affectionate, devoted, and a wonderful companion. He is such a little gem! Lucky is stable and currently being treated for valley fever and a UTI. He has a history of doing well with other dogs. Cats are unknown and would require careful introduction. He’s not the right fit for every home—but perfect for someone looking for a deeply loyal companion!
