My story

Willa was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. If you are a fan of girl cats, Willa is the ultimate girl! Our stripey queen is extremely outgoing & friendly, always ready to add new human friends to her queendom. In fact, Willa enjoys doing pretty much anything that is HER idea. If something is NOT her idea, however, she will let you know of her displeasure. For example, Willa will be affectionate and accept petting & attention all day long, but she is not a huge fan of being picked up & carried, and she will tell you all about it if you attempt to do such a thing. And while Willa was thrilled to meet her veterinarian and gave her lots of headbutts and rumbly purrs initially, she was NOT a fan of veterinary handling and grumbled about it so that we would know we were in the wrong.
