My story

Meet Rollie – short for Rollie Pollie Ollie! Don`t let his age scare you away - this little guy is surprisingly fast and energetic! He always loves walks and exploring. What he loves most though, is to be around his people. He has mastered the art of snuggling - he has expert level skills at curling up as close to you as he can. Rollie doesn`t like to be left alone long if he knows you are home. He would prefer to follow closely by your side - whether that is following you around, snuggling, or going for small walks. That being said, he does not bark or whine when you are out of the house - he just takes this time to catch up on some napping. He is also not a morning `person` and will sleep in as long as he can - which who can blame him? He is house trained and is amazing at letting you know when he wants to go out. He is a perfectly sweet gentleman, although he does have a few quirks. When he sees people on his walks, he will try to get their attention - he always wants to meet new people and can barely contain his excitement at the prospect of even more affection. He also would need to be the only pet as he has shown a prey drive and does not like other dogs. Kennels and cages also aren`t his cup of tea - they really stress him out. If given the choice between a dog bed or your bed, you better believe he will be right there beside you quicker than you can process what happened! Rollie did just undergo his dental surgery. With only two small teeth left, this means he will have to continue on a soft diet of soaked kibble or wet food for life. But this hasn`t slowed him down - he eagerly eats and is always ready for whatever his person has in store! He is overall a very quiet dog, but will whine to go out and barks at other dogs or when put into a cage. Aside from those times, he is a quiet loving little guy. Between being extremely affectionate, a complete sweetie pie, and enjoying his daily strolls, he is a perfect little companion that still has a lot of love to give. He just needs the perfect someone to share it with. Could that someone be you?`

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rollie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
