My story

Finn: The gentle shadow seeking a loving home. Finn is a beautiful black cat with a quiet charm that captures the heart of anyone who meets him. He was rescued from the streets where life was tough, and thankfully, EHS was able to step in and give him a second chance at a peaceful life. Finn is slowly learning to trust, and with time, love, and patience, he is ready to become a cherished friend. ABOUT FINN:- At shelter- Finn is timid and reserved, but genuinely sweet.- He will actively seek affection and attention once he is comfortable.- He is motivated by Churu treats, making bonding easier.- Finn enjoys pets and small brushing sessions.- He loves pets on his cheeks and behind his ears, especially with a back-scratcher.- Finn is not much of an explorer, but you will often find him curled up for naps in cozy spots.- Finn is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.- Finn has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat but is not transmissible to humans or other species.- A cat with FIV may be overlooked, but with routine vet care and a loving home, cats who have FIV can live a long, healthy life.FINN’S IDEAL HOME:- Finn will do well in a calm and patient environment to help him build confidence.- He will need someone who understands shy cats and gives him space when needed.- Finn will thrive in a home where affection is offered gently, and, on his terms.- We are uncertain how Finn would do in a household with other pets or small children.- Finn does not require medication but vet checkups twice a year are recommended If you’re looking for a serene presence that feels like a whispered blessing, apply to adopt Finn today! If you have any questions about Finn or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Finn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
