Kojo

My story

Kojo was a Craigslist posting at risk for county, and was pulled to ensure he had the yard, socialization and discipline needed for a young puppy to thrive. His owner was devastated to leave him but felt he couldn’t bring Kojo with him back east. Since then, Kojo has gone from a timid, unsure puppy to a social, sassy, bounding (giant) baby boy. He does well with dogs who are non-aggressive and playful. He is well exposed to multi-dog households, cats, children (3+) and strangers. He walks well on a leash and is responsive to obedience training. Owner obsessed- he would do amazing with an active family. He loves to be a shadow to whomever is in the home, and naps and eats well in his crate. His owner stated his birthday is 10/14/2024. He’s a phenomenal dog who has potential to be someone’s amazing second dog! I’ve had multiple meet and greets. The families we have interviewed have untrained dogs in the home who did not take to Kojo- due to this, an experienced owner is advised.
