Penny

My story

We adopted Penny about three months ago, and she has shown us how sweet and loving she is. She’s an 11-month-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who forms strong bonds and is very affectionate with people she knows and trusts.Penny gets along well with dogs of all sizes and enjoys their company. While she can be sensitive when meeting new people, with a little time and patience she warms up and becomes incredibly loving—once she knows you, she’ll be your best friend.Due to recent work changes, we’re not able to provide the time, attention, and consistency she needs. She would thrive in a home with a backyard and a stable routine. She warms up quickly to women and may take a bit longer with men, but becomes just as affectionate.This has been a very difficult decision, and we truly want her to find a home where she can thrive.
