QUICK FACTS Name: Nori Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Mini Jindo Mix Color: Yellow and White Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a wildfire. Everything around me was loud and overwhelming, but somehow, I made it through—and kind people found me. Since then, I’ve been learning that the world can be gentle, too. I may have come from a scary place, but I’m not a scared dog. I’m resilient, I’m hopeful, and I’m ready to trust again. Now, I’m just looking for someone to share a quiet, safe, and loving life with. MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying scheduled & healthy with no known health issues MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Nori, a little Jindo with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. I may be small, but I carry so much sweetness in me. I love being close to humans, soaking up affection, and making you smile with my cute charms. I’m affectionate, friendly, and full of love. Meeting people? I’m all for it — I naturally connect and enjoy being around humans. I also have a playful side! I love toys, I enjoy treats a lot, and I already know how to sit — especially if there’s a snack involved. If you’re looking for a companion who will stay by your side and brighten your everyday life, I might be your girl. MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: Hi, I’m a pretty affectionate little soul. I don’t just love the people I know — I’m the kind of dog who happily walks up to new friends too. I might gently lean into you or rub against you like I’ve known you forever, and yes, I’m very easy to pet. You can even scoop me up with your arms under my belly — I’m comfortable being picked up and held, especially when it means I get to be closer to you. I haven’t had a chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I might just need a little time and gentle introductions to understand them. · With Dogs: When it comes to other dogs, I like to take things at my own pace. I’ll politely say hello when I meet a new dog, but I’m not always the playful type right away — I prefer calm, respectful introductions. Big dogs can feel a little overwhelming for me sometimes, so I may get nervous around them. But with smaller dogs? I tend to be much more relaxed and friendly. If another dog comes on too strong, I might stand up for myself — so I’d really appreciate slow, thoughtful introductions to new friends. With the right guidance, I can feel safe and learn that the world and other dogs can be kind too. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy the outdoors but I also know how to relax. I have a nice, balanced energy — I love going out for walks and exploring, but once we’re back home, I’m happy to settle down and rest quietly by your side. On walks, I might get a little excited and pull sometimes, but I do pay attention to my person and like to follow along with you. And if you’re wondering… yes, I’m a professional sniffer. I love taking in all the smells, so I tend to stop and go, stop and go — there’s just so much to discover! With a bit of guidance, I’ll learn the rhythm of walking together, and I promise to make every walk feel like a little adventure we share. TRAINING & HABITS I rarely bark, so I’m more of the quiet type who just likes being near you. When it comes to food, I’m very gentle with people — you don’t have to worry about me guarding anything from you. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a little warning growl. I just like having my space during mealtime. In my kennel, I stay calm and settled, and I’m comfortable resting quietly when needed. I also prefer doing my business outside, so I enjoy having a routine with walks and fresh air. MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever SPECIAL NOTES You might notice my scars first — marks from burns I went through before I was rescued. They’re a part of me, but they don’t hurt anymore. Now, they’re just little reminders of how far I’ve come. I may not look “perfect,” but my heart? It’s full, and ready to love you with everything I have. If you look past my scars, you might just find your best friend waiting right here. On walks, I can be a bit sensitive to unfamiliar sounds, so I feel safest with someone patient who can guide me gently.
