My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Mango Age: 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 16kg / 35lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound where I had been placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space. My story could have ended there—but thankfully, it didn’t. I was given a second chance, and now I’m ready to start a brand new chapter. Today, I’m safe, hopeful, and full of love to give. I’m looking for a forever family who will see me for who I truly am, cherish me, and walk beside me through all of life’s little moments. I may have had a tough beginning, but I know the best part of my story is still ahead—with you.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I can be a little shy at first and may need some time to come out of my shell—but I promise, I’m absolutely worth the patience. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my true personality shines through. I’m a sweet, loving girl who adores my people and will happily shower you with affection. I’m also very food-motivated, which makes me eager to learn and easy to train. With my current foster family, I’m always seeking out pets and cuddles, and I’ll even do a cute little butt wiggle to show my love and loyalty. Even though I can be shy, my love for treats helps me warm up quickly—I have no problem accepting snacks from new friends. I’m just a gentle, affectionate girl looking for someone to share all my love with   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but with a bit of time and patience, I’ll warm up and show you my sweet side. I’m actually quite brave when treats are involved—I’m happy to approach people if there are tasty snacks in hand! I just need a little extra time before I’m fully comfortable with pets and snuggles, but once I get there, it’s all worth it · With Dogs: I enjoy meeting new dog friends, but I like to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I have a calm, easygoing nature—if another dog is too pushy or rude, I simply walk away and keep the peace. I tend to get along best with dogs around my size or those with a similarly gentle temperament. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors and going on walks, but I don’t need excessive exercise. After some fresh air and activity, I’m more than happy to settle down and relax with a good nap by your side.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well. I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs, and I’m able to rest calmly in my kennel. I prefer to do my business outdoors. I’m very food-motivated, which makes me eager to learn and easy to train. Currently, I’m living with a foster family where I’m continuing to build my confidence and socialize with both people and dogs—I’m opening up a little more each day   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that is willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I may be a little shy at first, so I’ll do best with a patient and understanding family who can give me the time and space to adjust at my own pace. Once I feel safe, I form strong, loving bonds and become a very affectionate and loyal companion. My love for food makes training both fun and effective, as I’m eager to learn and please. I have a calm, gentle nature and tend to thrive in peaceful environments rather than loud or chaotic ones. I’m currently doing well in a foster home where I’m building confidence each day, and with the right support, I’ll continue to blossom into an even more confident and loving dog    MANGO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2692165##
