My story

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION‼️ NO FEE‼️ Meet Precious. We found out she is 13 years old, already spayed, and heartworm negative. She does have a micro-chip that we can update to new owner. She is an older lady who really needs to get into a home to find comfort during her sunset season. She needs nutritious meals, a soft bed, companionship and extra affection. She has been dog friendly while here with us. Precious is very well mannered, great on the leash and an easy going girl. The shelter is waiving her adoption fee since sweet Precious is older and we are looking for someone willing to take on a geriatric companion. She was picked up by animal control and there is no telling how long she was on her own. She currently only weighs 53 pounds and she has weakness in her hind legs evidenced by some tremoring. The shelter is not an environment where she can be comfortable. Precious would benefit from a dental and an adopter should be willing and able to provide for her needs. Precious enjoys people and is social. She is treat motivated and knows the sit command. Please come meet Precious at Guntersville Animal Hospital, 1609 Henry St, Guntersville, Al. Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 and Sat 7:30-12. No appt necessary. Please call 256-582-3184 for more info.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Precious, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
