QUICK FACTS Name: Toto Age: About 4 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Dachshund Mix Color: Brown Weight: 4kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I’m one of nine siblings who came from the city shelter. Now I’m growing up safe and healthy, and I’m ready to find a loving forever family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Toto, a tiny pup with a huge personality! I may be the smallest one, but I’m full of confidence and charm—I never back down and I always make people laugh. I’m affectionate, funny, and love being the center of attention. I have the most adorable dachshund-like look, and my playful, cheeky personality makes me unforgettable. I’m a dog with tons of personality, affection, and humor. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big spirit who will keep you smiling every day, I might be your perfect match.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I might be a bit shy when we first meet, but if you offer me a tasty treat, I’ll happily take it and warm up to you quickly. Soon enough, you’ll be able to hold me in your arms and pet me too! Once I feel safe, I’ll roll over and show you my belly… and sometimes I’ll even do that when we’ve just met! That’s my way of saying I trust you and would love some belly rubs. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, but with careful introduction, I’m sure I’ll get along great with them! · With Dogs: I’m a very friendly and social pup! I don’t just stick to dogs I know — I’ll happily walk up to new dogs, say hello, and even invite them to play. I love making new doggy friends wherever I go! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and after some fun outside, I’m happy to settle down and rest quietly at home. I’m still learning my walking manners, so I’ll need a little leash training and guidance. With patience and practice, I know I can become a great walking companion!   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people at all. But when it comes to other dogs during mealtime, I can be quite serious. If another dog comes too close, I may growl and even try to defend my food — I really like to finish my meal in peace. I also like to “talk” a bit when I want something—like food or water—but it’s just my way of communicating with you. When I’m placed in a kennel, I might whine a little because I’d rather be close to my people. I can use both indoor pee pads and go potty outside, and guess what? I usually have a designated potty spot and use it well.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I don’t guard my food from people at all.
